A mural that took a whole summer and changed a corner
An artist worked the same alley wall for eleven weeks. The neighbours became the project unofficial crew.

The commission was for two weeks. It ran to eleven, mostly because people kept stopping to talk.
By the halfway point, residents were bringing water, holding ladders and offering strong opinions about the blue.
Public art as a conversation
The finished wall is the least interesting part of the story, according to the artist. What mattered was the daily audience — the reason to come outside.
